Cooking homemade manti:

Step 1: Cook the dough.

Sift the wheat flour into a bowl through a fine sieve, add a pinch of salt, an egg and a little warm water. Knead an elastic, elastic dough that should not stick to your hands. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for one hour.

Step 2: Prepare the filling.

I bought ready-made stuffing. But if you have pork tenderloin at home, you can cook it yourself by passing the meat through a meat grinder with an average knife. Peel onions, finely chop and add to the minced meat, you can also skip through the meat grinder. Do not forget to salt and pepper.

Step 3: Cooking Homemade Manti.

We take the dough out of the refrigerator, divide it into 4 parts and roll out a rectangular layer with a thickness of at least 0.5 cm, cut it into 6 squares, about 9x9 cm, in each of which we put one teaspoon of minced meat. We pinch the edges in the middle, and connect in pairs all the tips of the manti. The photo will help you find your way. We will cook homemade manti in a double boiler or a mantle, the bottom of which must be greased with a piece of butter. After that, put all the manti in it so that they do not touch each other. Otherwise, then when removed, they stick together and tear. Manti should be cooked for at least 40 - 50 minutes over medium heat.

Step 4: Serve homemade manti.

We take dill, wash and finely chop. Ready manti must be carefully greased with butter so that they do not stick together, and then sprinkled with herbs. Homemade manti is served with sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
