Making a loaf of rice with raisins:
Step 1: Cooking Fig.Rice must be sorted out from large and small debris, then carefully rinse it in water. For the convenience of this action, you can use a fine sieve. Next, put the rice in a pan and completely fill it with cold water. We put it on medium heat and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, boil milk in a different container. Be careful not to “run away”. When the water in the rice boils, drain it, and pour the rice with boiled milk. Add the cinnamon stick and return the saucepan to the fire. Cook rice until it boils and thickens. It will take time 20-30 minutes. However, it must be stirred very often. After that, remove the saucepan from the heat, remove the cinnamon stick from the rice, and add the following ingredients: granulated sugar, raisins previously washed in water, 1 tablespoon of butter. Mix the whole mass well and give it a little time to cool.
Step 2: Form and bake a loaf of rice.Initially, we separate the proteins from the yolks. For this we need 2 containers and a knife. We break the egg with a knife blade in the middle, but we do not open the shell to the end, but only make a small gap. Thus, protein will flow from it into the first container. When it comes out completely, move the egg to the second container and open the shell completely and get a clean yolk. We also do with all chicken eggs. Mix the yolks with rice immediately, and whisk the whites first in a thick foam with a whisk, after which we also mix the mass into the main one. We grease the form with a piece of butter, after which we abundantly fill its entire surface (including the sides) with breadcrumbs. We spread the rice mixture into the mold with a spoon and evenly distribute it. Oven warm up to a temperature of 180 degrees and send our product to it. We bake it at a stable temperature until completely browned. It takes time 20-25 minutes.
Step 3: Serve a loaf of rice with raisins.We take the loaf from the oven, cool it completely right in the form. After that, you can already get the product out of shape, cut it into portions and serve it with tea or other drinks. If desired, you can sprinkle its surface with a little sugar or spread a thin layer of honey on it. If the pie turned out to be too dry, then it can be eaten with jam, condensed milk or any cream according to your individual taste. The loaf turns out very tasty and fragrant. Enjoy your meal!
- - If you do not really like the taste and aroma of cinnamon, then this does not matter. Indeed, in the recipe you can replace it with vanilla.
